January's Beat Battle and Rules

December was some good Head to Head Action in the beat battles!  Crafty & DJ Crumz came out on top to finish out the 2015!  It's time for you to come put your name in the limelight for the start of 2016!

With the new Star Wars Movie upon us and the release of the Life After Death Star Album buzzing, DJ Crumz kept the sample...out of this Galaxy!  Here is the first sample of 2016!  

If you are interested in submitting a beat for the battle please see the rules below:

• Entrants MUST use the sample in their beats
• Beats Should NOT BE longer than TWO minutes
• Beats must be submitted by Jan 5th (Online Submissions will be due Jan 3rd)
• Email Beats to hiphopandhookah@gmail.com
• Put ONLINE or LIVE BEAT SUBMISSION in the SUBJECT LINE 
• You can only submit to one battle. (Live or Online)
• Voting will be held at the live event at Burro Bar or Online between Jan 4thth - Noon January 7th
